Soil and Exposition
Loam-clay soil. East-west exposition.  200 mt. above sea level- at 8 km west from the Adriatic sea.
Wine- making
In red, delestage and frequent pumpovers at controlled temperatures, max 25°C, for at least 10 days.
12 months in new French oak barriques then for further 18 months aging in bottles.

Organoleptic properities

Dark red colour, turning into black, aubergine skin. Intense nose, big complexity reminding pepper, grass and blackberries. Good body due to oak. Spicy taste of good lenghth, full and well balanced with its bitter-sweet taste
