Romagna Albana – D.O.C.G. Passito
Soil and exposition
Loam-clay soil. Nord-South exposition.
Handmade with a first carefully selection on the plant - layed down on rocks.
Forced in cell at 20°C, with controlled humidity and continuous ventilation. Weekly visual inspections. After one month in the cell further sorting of the grapes. At the end of the drying period the grapes lose 50% of their weight.
Fermentation in new oak casks till reaching 13° alcohol.
12 months in bottle
Amber yellow, intense and shiny. Delicate and elegant notes of candied fruit and apricot jam, dried fruit.
Full-bodied , pleasantly and intensely sweet, with freshness slightly below and in the final grants a pleasant almond flavour
